Rachel and her trusty spinning wheel at Clitheroe Castle on Jubilee day. Today Rachel gave me a quick lesson on setting up my Spinning Wheel and I've finally been able to start spinning. It is very relaxing until the thread breaks but with practise I will be able to spin a full sheep :-)
I've got the knack of the drop spindle I've just got to work on getting the twist more even and finer.
